Programs: During the 45-day legislative session, the abu education fund provided a summary of each week's actions at the capitol in conjunction with local public radio station kcpw. In this role, the ed fund took no position on any legislative issues but was solely responsible for providing an unbiased look at each week's activities.

the abu education fund continued its efforts to improve civic engagement and to make utah government more transparent to utah citizens. This was done through a series of debates and forums to better engage voters in their elections and political knowledge. In conjunction with the john r. Park debate society at the university of utah, the abu education fund arranged and hosted four legislative debates and one school board debate. The ed fund took no endorsement or other position with respect to any of the races. Separately, the ed fund arranged and hosted an "lds values forum" to examine the intersection of politics and faith in the lds community.

the ed fund used opeds, letters to the editor, earned media, and radio appearances to educate the public about, and to bring attention to, current issues, including judicial appointments, campaign finance reform, the importance of debate and civic engagement, voting rights, vote-by-mail, and automatic voter registration, the risks of a constitutional convention, budget issues, open government, and more. The ed fund does not expressly advocate for a particular position but rather uses its voice to educate and provide resources for consideration of the issues.
