Programs: Asheville bravo concerts presented 5 concerts featuring a variety of fine arts and welcomed 7,254 community members to the cultural events offered. The organization also continued the music education partnership program (mepp) to: (1) subsidize tickets for the local indigent population; (2) provide music education programs and a curriculum presented in the public schools and community youth organizations; and (3) conduct education programs for the general public. Approximately 1700 tickets were given to 1700 deserving youth in the local community.
due to rising costs of producing world class touring artists within the thomas wolfe auditorium, bravo has decided to close its doors after 80 years. It does so leaving no debt in the community and with high hearts after a year including joshua bell and the soweto gospel choir.
