When my daughter was 3 we attended the "Educational Puppet Show" offered through the Arts in School Program sponsored by the Arts Council of Appling County. The event was hosted at the Fine Arts Center in Baxley which seats over 1000 and has a grand stage. She was fascinated with the size of the venue and the enormous crowd of students and staff. Her eyes were glued to the performance as the laughter filled the auditorium. My daughter is now five and loves the arts. She still talks about the puppet show and even refers to the Fine Arts Center as "The Puppet Place". We enjoy attended many Arts Council of Appling County performances an theatrical productions, but this will always be one that stands out for me. Thank you Arts Council of Appling County for your continued efforts to introduce and provide quality arts programs and performances to our community.
