Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: Arizona Pug Adoption and Rescue Network (APARN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of the pug breed. APARN’s Mission is to rescue pugs in need (whether abandoned, homeless, unwanted, or otherwise unable to remain in their current homes), provide medical care and emotional support, and place them into loving, permanent adoptive homes in Arizona. We strive to educate the public about the Pug dog breed, including its personality, healthy weight, special needs and care, and the importance of spay/neuter
Results: Record breaking year of 2014 - Aparn took in 223 pugs in 2014 treated with veterinary care and got them ready for adoption about 182 pugs were adopted into their forever homes in 2014. Tonopah Puppy Mill Rescue of 2015 - Aparn participated in the rescue of over 130 pugs from a puppy mill in Tonopah, AZ. Read the story here http://www.nopugleftbehind.org/.

Programs: Aparn took in 140 pugs in 2017 treated with veterinary care and got them ready for adoption about 75 pugs were adopted into their forever homes in 2017
