I had a bunch of feral cats at my workplace and Cindy helped me with them and take care of this overwhelming problem. She helped me with multiple field adoptions. I could have not tackled this problem without her and her advice!

I adopted Radar and later Echo. They knew I wanted a companion for Radar and notified me when they found Echo. Great people to adopt from that really care for the cats and dogs.

ASAP is a wonderful organization. It is amazing what 3 dedicated woman and a host of volunteers can do. Donations of food and litter have reach 3/4's of the United States including Puerto Rico and St. Croix. Many thanks to Purina Pets for People donating so much food and litter. Dozens of truckloads of food go out each month. In addition they spay and neuter almost a thousand cats per year and donate much needed medical services to the local community.

Having adopted 2 kittens from ASAP, I could not be happier. They were healthy and well adjusted to family life and continue to delight us with the antics and loving attitudes.

It was also good to know that ASAP finds homes for those kittens that are better suited as 'barn cats' to help control the feral cat population.

Being a part of a foster family it is so wonderful to have a shelter that is dedicated to help us support the kittens we take in and is always there to answer our questions.

ASAP does such a wonderful service for our community. I have seen them many times at the local Farm & Fleet having an adoption day. Talking with Susan and Cindy of ASAP really makes my day.

Both of them were once affiliated with Helping Paws, where my mom, Joanne Anderson was the President for many years. Mom had the greatest respect for them both and I know she is in heaven looking down, seeing how ASAP works.. and is proud to have known them.

On the days at Farm and Fleet when I would bring my Dad along... Susan and Cindy were both so wonderful to him. So friendly and respectful to an old man of 80 plus years. I will always be grateful for that.

This is a very, very worthwhile nonprofit. I highly recommend ASAP for all those loving homes who would like to adopt a new kitty as a family member.

This is a wonderful program. I am a volunteer and help feed a colony of the very sweet cats. Although they are outdoor cats they each have their own personality and are very friendly and are all anxiously awaiting when I arrive with their food. Their life wouldn't be possible without this program. This program has had them all fixed as to help aid in decreasing the population of homeless animals. They have a wonderful network of people who with everyone's efforts would make for a very sad ending for many of these animals. Animals that all they want is food and water and no living creature should have to go without these basic simple needs. I am proud to be helping these animals. They live together as they are family to one another and I adore them. The program makes it possible for them to have a quality of life they would not otherwise have.

3 ½ years ago I became an unexpected volunteer into the Animal Services Assistance Program. Trying to find a solution for a stray 2 month old kitten in a neighborhood with a terrible eye injury and her Feral Mother Cat.

Upon contacting the ASAP program in McHenry County, IL . I was informed to various solutions on how to live trap humanely so that the kitten could get medical assistance. I was also explained the TNR program for feral cats Trap Neuter & Return (TNR). What a brilliant concept Spay & Neuter and Return to the same safe area if possible. IF truly Feral.

Upon trapping the kitten and obtaining medical assistance for the injury she was recuperating quietly at my home. My mission was to trap the Mother Cat the following day. With the Mother Cat now live trapped and waiting for the TNR program for spaying the next morning. Mother went into labor and delivered 6 new kittens.

With the help of Animal Services Assistance Program I would have never reached out to live trap either of these cats and rescued so many cats and kittens.
Needless to say I am a unexpected volunteer turned volunteer that has taken in numerous feral cats for TNR and many also that have been adopted out on the program with in the program.

As far as the eye injury kitten and the Mother cat well let’s just say that I have rescued them to inside living along with many others that are my misfits.

Kudos to Animal Services and Assistance Program with all volunteers for all that they do. Please adopt cats and kittens from them or take in a barn cat that needs a safer outdoor living space.

Rescue a life its very rewarding!

I've adopted 2 cats from Animal Services and Assistance Program and I couldn't be happier!!! They went above and beyond to make sure that our first cat was a good fit for our home. When we decided to get another, we immediately contacted ASAP Inc. I've donated to them because I truly believe that they are doing AMAZING things. I highly recommend them and I've told many people about them.

I started volunteering with ASAP 2 years ago when they helped me fix a female stray cat in the neighborhood through their Trap, Neuter and Release program. Since that time I have had the privilege of being a part of the TNR program to help stop the reproduction of so many unwanted kittens by using live traps to catch them, having the cats fixed at the vet and being able to re-release the wild ones in a secure environment. I've have also been a foster mom to so many tame and wild cats/kittens that have come through the shelter to help them become happy and well adjusted in order to find their forever homes. The board members only have the animals safety in mind and work tirelessly all hours of the day and night to save as many as they can. To me, they are hero's.

Animal Services and Assistance Program helped me to find the perfect addition to our family. Not only do they go out of their way to help shelters and every animal that they can, but they went far beyond what I ever thought anyone would do for me. They are full of knowledge, passion, and compassion.

I donate to this organization because they put 100% of their donations back into helping shelters and rescues. They are an all volunteer organization and spend every dime they have giving back to animals. They really level the playing field for the smaller shelters who have no time or resources. Its really great to follow them on their map across the country on their website http://www.ASAP-USA.org. Thanks to Purina Pets for People for providing so much food!

Animal Services and Assistance Programs, Inc. (ASAP) provides food, supplies programs and services to shelters and rescues across the US. Founded in 2008 as the first national 501c3 NFP organization of its kind we have distributed over 15,000,000 pounds feeding over 100,000 shelter animals. ASAP's Guardian Angels program provides surgery for shelter animals across the US in order that they be placed for adoption and not euthanized. ASAP founded the first County approved TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program in Illinois. ASAP's mission is to give shelters assistance so they can focus on saving more lives.

During the past couple of years I have volunteered for an awesome group of people called ASAP, Animal Services and Assistance Programs. They provide many services to animal rescue groups and individuals, including but not limited to, delivery and distribution of dog and cat food, vaccinations, low cost spay/neuter, veterinary services, and animal transport. They are truly a one of a kind organization with knowledgeable, dedicated and caring members and volunteers. ASAP has delivered millions of pounds of dog and cat food to needy rescue organizations, and have made a huge difference in the lives of all the people and animals they’ve touched. It is thanks to ASAP that many thousands of sheltered and adopted animals are still alive and have a shot at a good life.

I adopted my kitty Maile from ASAP in November of 2011. Cindy was so helpful in answering all my questions and even arranged to meet me to pick Maile up. I was given complete up to date medical records and even a prepaid registration for her microchip. I am so happy I was able to give Maile her furever home - she is a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you Cindy & ASAP.

ASAP is a wonderful organization that serves both local and national animal rescue organizations, as well as providing many services to local people through their TNR program. They also have a wonderful Guardian Angels program that helps provide medical care to ill or injured animals in shelters, then finds them placement in a no-kill shelter until they are adopted. I've been blessed to get to participate in several of their pet food distributions for animal rescue groups, as well as fostering kittens and cats in need of a temporary home & helping them get adopted. Love this organization, and the great things they do for animal rescue groups!

I am a veterinarian that has known the Board Members of ASAP for many years. The organization has continued to deliver food to shelters and provide funds for medical care of pets when owners cannot afford to take care of them. No other organization in our area helps distribute food to shelters in need like ASAP.

Animal Services and Assistance Programs, Inc, has helped me in such a big way. I was feeding the wild cats in my neighborhood because I felt sorry for these poor homeless animals. They started bringing their kittens to me, I did not have enough money to fix the five female cats that were here. Susan and Cindy came into the neighborhood and helped me to trap the females get them fixed and fix and find homes for all the 15 kittens. They fixed the males which helped with all the cat fights in the neighborhood and also helped to relocate and adopt out some of the more tame cats that had been dumped out and left behind by a rental house down the street. They also paid the medical bill to help one female who only had three legs, she came to my porch one day with the only back leg she had, broken. This wonderful organization paid to have a pin put in her broken leg. This cat now lives in our home and is the sweetest most appreciative cat I have ever known.

I worked with this organization through their trap and release program. They provided assistance in trapping feral stray cats, helped with low cost neutering and the cats were returned to my care afterwards. The people from the organization were very helpful and patient. They also assisted me when I found very young kittens whose mother had disappeared. I didn't know what to do and they came right over, evaluated the kittens (who were very sick and cold) and took care of everything.
