Mission: Angles informs and empowers young people by providing health care, education, and support relating to their sexuality.
Programs: The health education program takes age-appropriate and factual information for grades 5-12 out to school classrooms, where staff and volunteers facilitate workshops about healthy relationships, responsible decision-making, and practical issues such as the prevention of substance abuse, acquaintance rape, sexually transmitted infections, and unplanned pregnancy.
the pride youth program provides a safe and confidential space for youth in grades 9-12 who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender to build community and support for each other. Curriculum includes discussion of the coming out process, strategies for coping with homophobia, the prevention of hiv and other sexually transmitted infections, and discussion of peer relationships and other social issues. In addition to support groups, leadership development, service-learning and social programs have been added.
