This is a fairly new organization started by 3 wonderful ladies after they learned of a need in our community. The area that this group serves continues to grow as does new groups that these ladies show how to start groups in their areas. This is a group of seamstresses and tailors who make "angel gowns" from donated wedding gowns. These "angel gowns" are given to families to bury their angel baby in. The families are actually given two gowns, one for burial and one as a memento. The volunteers "deconstruct" the gowns, cut out the patterns, make small hats to go with the gowns, a Girl Scout troop that makes angel pins to go with the gowns. I personally am involved with making the hats and helping where needed at fund raising events.
