Amplify Voices

Results: Amplify Voices empowers individuals to share their stories with courage, conviction, and compassion, making a profound impact on audiences ranging from small groups to large gatherings. Positioned as an advocacy incubator, Amplify Voices is dedicated to amplifying the voices of those historically silenced, misunderstood, and underrepresented, equipping them to become confident change agents who positively impact communities worldwide. Since early 2021, our programs, including workshops, Speaker Circles, showcases, public screenings of the documentary “The Journey”, and a comprehensive 90-Day Speaker Training Experience have served 163 participants across 14 programs with a 97% completion rate. Notably, we've hosted 13 events, reaching thousands that amplified the Voices for sex trafficking/assault, the formerly incarcerated and champions of breast cancer. In 2024, we are launching the Voice for Mental Wellness with a primary focus in Maricopa County. The Amplify Advocacy Program fosters mentorship of our participants for continued advocacy beyond speaker training graduation and Community Circles sustain ongoing connections among graduates. A Train-the-Trainer program is currently under development with Nationwide Insurance, our pro bono corporate partner, to develop a state-of-the art training program to empower graduates and other nonprofits to create future networks of voice-specific Speaker Circles. Committed to expanding impact, Amplify launches a new Voice annually, addressing diverse issues and connecting with individuals who benefit from our programs. We begin the process by collaborating with local stakeholders to create multi-dimensional focus groups comprised of professionals, prospective participants, and graduates - where we leverage their collective expertise to ensure that each new Voice is relevant and reflects best practice. Results from our recently completed “Beyond Breast Cancer” program illustrate the positive outcomes of our initiatives. Feedback from participants, below, indicated remarkable impact: 100% of program graduates strongly agreed that Amplify had a profoundly positive influence on their lives. All graduates expressed intentions to deliver their talks again in the future. 85% of participants reported feeling confident in using their voices and sharing their experiences with others. Notably, every participant affirmed that they would wholeheartedly recommend Amplify's programs to others. Furthermore, our high program completion rate underscores the effectiveness and appeal of our offerings, with 97% of participants successfully completing our programming. These results underscore the tangible impact of our initiatives and validate the efficacy of our model in empowering individuals to amplify their voices and effect positive change in their communities.
