Mission: Now in its 28th year, the Alliance publishes information on the arts in New York City as well as studies highlighting the importance of the arts to the economy and to education. The Alliance's special role is as a leader in: * advocating for a public/private partnership in support of the cultural community * publishing cultural guides and calendars* researching the economic impact and financial health of the arts * promoting arts education in the schools through guides and research * serving individual artists
