I got pulled over for an improper turn. I had driven I brothers van up to a campsite to go camping with them and I’m from Ohio and it was full of gear and beat up. I was tired and kinda spaced out so I understand why he was suspicious and his actions in asking me to get out and checking for weapons was reasonable. He was just very rude and disrespectful the whole time even though I was respectful to him and cooperative and didn’t ask questions. Really just disappointed because I’ve always respected officers and since I wok in food service I serve them free food daily and their always respectful to me but this was really a let down:/ I know it’s upsetting when ppl do dumb thing while driving but there’s not reason to be rude becuasebi seem suspicious.

STATE TROOPER WAS IN THE PASSING LANE, WITH HIS cruise control on at 65 miles per hour, WAITING FOR CARS TO COME WITHIN 140 FEET OF HIM, gives ticket to cars , for follow too close.....a $215 ticket. Seems like a good set up to out of state cars that can't come and fight it. I had my cruise control on at 74 and came up on him, got in the right lane to pass him, and he got behind me and stopped me. Pretty tricky.....nice way to give expensive tickets to people who most likely will not drive back to your state and fight ticket. My question, is why is he in the passing lane, going 5 miles under the speed limit, on speed control? i AM BEING TOLD BY ALABAMA RESIDENTS, THAT IT IS ILLEGAL TO BE GOING UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT IN THE PASSING LANE. THIS OFFICIER TOLD US, HE HAD HIS SPEED CONTROL SET AT 65, 5 UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT. I ALSO DID OVERTAKE HIM, AND PASS....WHICH IN THE STATUTE SAYS IT IS ALLOWED TO BE CLOSER THAN THE 140 FEET IF OVERTAKING AND PASSING. THIS WAS A TOTALLY UNFAIR TICKET. THIS OFFICER WAS ACTUALLY CAUSING A DANGEROUS SITUATION, THAT THEY TICKET OTHER PEOPLE FOR. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISPICABLE,
