Mission: Aidspirit usa is a grossroots, faith-based organization that provides physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational support to individuals and communities affected by hiv/aids in billings, mt and kayunga, uganda through programming and funding that increase awareness and compassion among all people towards hiv/aids and those affected by this illness along with assistance with basic life needs for those living with the disease.
Programs: Our local outreach includes food for friends (monthly nutritious meal program), emergency assistance with prescription co-pays and utility bills, support for loan "pantry" for non-food essential items, world aids day prayer service, and coordination of christmas gift delivery.
our uganda outreach includes providing housing and meals through the tender mercies orphanage (which includes children orphaned by the aids crisis), providing education through our sponsorship program, providing clean water through wells, providing medications, sickle cell and eye clinics, providing community education aimed at prevention of new hiv infections and development of ongoing sustainability projects in the area.
