Programs: Conservation and restoration work at kawainui marsh, oahu. Restoration of native forest and ethnobotanical landscape, cultural practices, and wetland restoration at ulupo heiau state historic park, oahu. Volunteers assist in active restoration programs. Aml continues to support the creation and implementation of a master plan for kawainui and hamakua marsh complex via public education and active stewardship of the resources that fall within this plan. Aml maintains a close working relationship with the state natural resource agencies.

The goal of this program is to provide a culturally positive experience that directly benefits the wahine offenders from the women's community correctional center. Their work provides a benefit to the community by restoring and maintaining to our land and water while learning both new skills and learning of their own value - all within the context of aml practitioners sharing hawaiian conservation ethic. Through the preparation and work, a vital and healing connection between kanaka and 'aina is established.
