Mission: Advocates' mission is to help people achieve their hopes and dreams within the fabric of their communities. We partner with people with disabilities, elders, and those with other challenges to overcome personal obstacles and societal barriers so that they can obtain and keep their homes, engage in work and other meaningful activities, and sustain satisfying relationships. We work to inspire communities to create opportunites for contribution and participation by all.
Programs: Mental health - operated residential and day programs that helped people with psychiatric illness, substance abuse or other challenges in living. During the year the agency delivered services to approximately 9,800 individuals through 59 different program locations.
developmental disabilities - operated residential and day programs that helped people with developmental disabilities or other challenges in living. During the year the agency delivered services and support to approximately 1,000 individuals through 56 different program locations.
adult family care - provided support and oversight for individuals providing care to family members with disabilities or who are elderly. The program provided support to approximately 460 families.
