Causes: Philanthropy, Public Foundations
Mission: The mission of Adam's House is to offer grief education and peer support to children along with their families who are struggling to cope with the death of a loved one. Adam's House establishes a safe place where children come together to share their experiences with peers who are going through similar circumstances. Our program is unique in that it is a closed group that meets for eight-weeks. Our program helps children increase resiliency and hope for a bright future despite their loss.
Results: 15 Families 28 Children 20 Parents 11 Towns All report positive feedback on their time in our program.
Programs: Contributions are raised through a variety of fundraising activities with the objective to keep our grief education services free to any CT families who seek support.
