Mission: The mission of the Academy of Applied Science is to provide programs, pathways and information to develop the intellectual capacity, critical thinking, creativity, and problem solving abilities of students so that they may become contributing, and forward-thinking members of the science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the invention community.
Results: AAS has received continual awarding of large government grants to run STEM programs for multiple branches of the military since 1963. Over 75,000 students have been engaged in STEM through AAS. Approximately $400,000 in college scholarships are awarded and administered annually through AAS. 87% of surveyed students indicate plans to enroll in STEM studies at the undergraduate level.
