This organization goes above and beyond to enhance the wellbeing and skills of those seeking to improve their lives. The facilitators are true advocates for their clients! I truly appreciate the opportunity to serve as a volunteer with A Hope and a future. I’ve met some interesting people and gained skills that have helped me in my personal and professional development.
A very caring organization which works to help individuals and families handle the challenges of life.
I have already seen so many lives of young adults impacted in such a positive way. The Life Out Loud program at A Hope and a Future is truly amazing and inspiring.
I've only been going for a little while and this group has made me feel loved and feel at home. I'm here for PTSD and other issues. Would highly suggest this group.
A Hope and a Future helped me with my healing from PTSD. Group therapy was a needed and key component to my journey to regaining hope for my present and future.
A Hope and a Future is exactly that for my son. As an autistic young adult, he has struggled most of his life to fit in with his peers and feel accepted. This group gives him a sense of real community. He is learning real life skills including cooking and money management. The experience he is getting with learning how to be part of a group, learning how to be a friend and have friends is possibly the most valuable portion for him. It is giving him the confidence in himself to know that he can be a happy, productive part of his community.
The leaders of this group are amazing people who sincerely want to help these guys build a life. For our family, there has never been anything like this, and we are forever grateful.
My son is in a group With all young men who struggle with life skills and daily challenges. Through this organization, my son has been provided with ample opportunities to learn and practice life skills through real life experiences. Their life coach meets with them twice a week. They participate in fitness, culinary skills, and financial management classes. There are outings to local places to learn social skills. The life coach also meets with them and discusses everyday life situations and how they can be better equipped to handle them. Its an amazing organization.
When my son started this group, he had little control over his reactions to things he didn’t want to do. He interrupted conversation and did think about how important it was to listen and be interested in what others had to say in a conversation. Thanks to Paul and the other young men in this group he can now control himself, listen to others and provide good feedback. He has equal conversations. He also complies with anything we ask of him with perseverance. He has also learned to become more calm and patient. We are so happy with what Paul, other instructors and the other guys have helped him with who he is today.
