My Name is Tirsha Quewell, I live in the beautiful country of Belize in a small village named Santa Familia. i am a recipient of 4 The Worlds scholorship program. I can proudly say that 4 the World has helped me and my community in different ways. Thanks to them for offering me a scholorship i have the opportunity to currently be pursuing one of my biggest goals which is to finish nursing school. Mr. Robert has been there since day one, he has been one of my greatest mentors and encouragers. I come from a small village where parents do not have sufficient funds to afford for their kids to further their education, by watching the necessity and willingness of kids to continue studying they have granted highschool scholorship to many kids who couldn't afford it. I have witnessed their good deeds as they offer books to the village primary school. They go the extra mile also by helping to building churches. 4 the World has impacted and changed lives of many young and old people, they have given hope to those who were hopeless, they have brought happiness to many sad faces. As For me, When there seemed to be no way to continue my studies, they happily granted me the opportunity to reach for the stars. With the heart in my hands I can say, Thank you 4 THE WORLD .I will forever be greatful to this Organization for all what they have done for me and my community.
My name is Josias Cunil I'm originally from Guatemala. I have known the founder of 4 the World for over 14 years, I have been a volunteer since, knowing 4 the World has made a big change in my life when it comes to knowing and sharing with people you don't know.
4 the World has change many peoples life here in Guatemala specially in remote areas where the government of Guatemala has no reach like protected areas, 4 the World has built school in remote areas and help students with their school supplies. The founder of 4 the World who is Mr. Robert Keith Froom dedicates most of his time helping countries like Guatemala and Belize, the ONG is focus mainly on education and health.
Soon here in Guatemala 4 the world will have his own rescue station to help on firefighting personnel, medics, training etc. But 4 the World cant make it on his own please help so that together we can make a big difference in many peoples life.
Words cannot describe my experience with 4 The World, and the impact it has made on me. The experience has truly shaped me as a person and taught me so much about helping others. I loved helping with everyday life in Belize and getting to know locals. Meeting the children and working with each and every one of them will make me think differently forever. I am so humbled by this experience and I can't wait to go back again. I couldn't have done it without 4 The World! If you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend this lifelong experience!
4 the World is the best nonprofit with whom I have worked. I traveled to Belize twice with them to work with teachers and give books to children. It was most rewarding. Robert (founder and operator) handled the logistics and put us in touch with those who needed our help, yet we gained so much through the experience.
I traveled to Belize to conduct professional development for teachers in San Ignacio. Robert the man who runs this organization showed us around the western area of Belize and pointed out many of the projects he has undertaken. It is amazing what this one man has put together. He has brought hundreds of volunteers to western Belize and eastern Guatemala to make a difference to those people by building schools, medical clinics, parks and churches. He has provided thousands of pieces of free clothing for the people of Guatemala who are particularly poor, thanks to the help of volunteer groups in the Garner area. He has provided hundreds of books and computers to several schools in the area. Robert has run this organization himself with the help of volunteers because of his love for the people and the need that he saw when he visited the area years ago.
4 The World is an amazing non profit organization created to help the families and school children of Belize and Guatamala. This group has amazing volunteer opportunities to teach students, teachers, build communities, bridges, and provide basic needs for people that are in such need. The founder Robert, gives 110% of his time and energy to this organization and to these families. I was amazed and learned so much through volunteering with this organization.
4 the world has made me believe that it is possible to change lives through education and therefore provide a promising future to children that would otherwise be left behind. I can't say enough good things about the caring and brilliant volunteers this organization has working for it, to improve the health and welfare in impoverished countries.
4 the World listens to communities to see if they would like assistance and if so what kind of support they need. This is important because 4 the World respects people's dignity and respects their autonomy. It is also important because it means that money is not wasted on standardized programs that are not needed in a community. 4 the World takes groups of doctors, teachers, and business leaders to provide care and training to children and to promote gender equity. The practical basic needs as well as social justice are both addressed by 4 the World.
