I love the 2nd Street Hooligans! Nick and Rachael are so knowledgeable and caring. Visiting is informative; you learn about why some animals are not in the same areas as others, or what the animals can eat, etc. The Hooligans have helped save numerous animals. They are willing to help everyone out, no matter how that may look. Everyone I’ve ever met at the rescue has been so nice. It feels good to see the animals safe, thriving and being taken care of.
2nd Street Hooligans are ran by some of the most passionate people I've ever met. They truly care not only about their rescues, but about people in general too. Their location is clean, the animals are well taken care of, and it's an all around fantastic experience every time I get to see the owners.
It's nice to see that they genuinely care and are making a difference.

This is by far one the best animal rescues in Southern California. The owners (Nick and Rachel) truly care for their animals and all their rescues are taken care of extremely well. I love visiting 2nd Street Hooligans and seeing the love that goes into all the animals well being.
Nick & Rachael run a very caring & compassionate animal rescue. They provide a loving environment for their sweet animals to live out their lives without stress, pain or worry of harm. The 2nd Street Hooligans offer opportunities to volunteer on a regular basis or occasionally if that’s what you prefer. They also hold Open Houses where you can meet the animals, pet & play with them and learn their history.
What can I say….this is a small organization that does BIG things.
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the sanctuary many times, and each time not only do I see it grow, but I see how much the owners and volunteers care.
This is the type of rescue that all rescues, big or small, should emulate.

2nd St Hooligans owners and the volunteers are amazing! We attended their recent open house where they had food, desserts, and fun stuff for the kids. We got to pet and feed the pigs and goats and it was so much fun! They obviously treat the animals really well. They remember each and every rescue story. What a great place and we cannot wait to get back and bring the entire family!

The animals are obviously very well taken care of and it’s a wonderful place to bring the kids to meet the animals, learn about where the animals came from, and the importance of animal advocacy. The volunteers are all great and the owner is very kind and knowledgeable. Will absolutely be back again and again!
2nd St Hooligans is amazing! The sanctuary is kept very clean and the animals have plenty of space to roam. You can really tell that the animals are loved and healthy. We attended their open house today and it was amazing. It was well organized and was decorated adorable for Halloween. Can’t wait to go back and visit again soon!

Their residents receive top-notch medical care and all their needs are met above and beyond. Every time I visit, it's clear to see how happy the animal residents are! If I can describe this Rescue in one word, it would be “LOVE”. The way Nick and Rachael care for these sweet animals is nothing short of heroic. Visiting the Rescue in July was such a joy. The amount of time, effort, love, and care they and the many volunteers put in cannot be quantified. You feel it the moment you step into this place. Nick showed me around the Rescue letting me visit, feed, and love on the amazing animals and was so informative with where they came from, what hurdles they encountered, what their temperament was, all of their names — not robotic like it was rehearsed, but truly from the love he has for each and every one. I think I spent about 2 hours there that day but could have easily spent much more. I can’t say enough about this place! Visit it if you are in the area. You will definitely not be disappointed!
I can’t say enough amazing things about this incredible rescue!! Any animals fortunate enough to be in their care has their lives changed for the better. They have animals from various backgrounds, some even rescued from animal testing! This organization takes the time to educate themselves about every animal while also working tirelessly to educate the community about the animals too! Their dedication and love for each animal is unmatched. Definitely pay them a visit and donate if you are able!!
I can't speak highly enough about 2nd Street Hooligans and the level of integrity love and care that goes into everything they do.
They have a beautiful vegan farm sanctuary non-profit where they care for a variety of rescued animals and shed a bright light on the truths of the animal agriculture industry as well as animal testing and also how to provide appropriate care for all individual beings in their care. I believe they bring such a great example of love to the community.
I can’t say enough amazing things about the 2nd Street Hooligans! Nick, Rachael, and their volunteers are so extremely hardworking and passionate about these animals, it is truly inspiring to see. They are so warm and welcoming, you can’t help but feel like part of the hooligans family the moment you step on the property :) They are great with educating visitors, and there are so many loving animals who are the luckiest to be in their care! Highly recommend paying this awesome nonprofit a visit, you won’t regret supporting such an amazing organization!
What a cute place to visit! So many animals with heartwarming stories. Nick took the time to educate us on their rescue turkeys that was interesting to learn. Seeing a 600lb big was a highlight! All the animals are so happy, can’t say enough good things about this organization. I want to visit again and again.

I went to the June 4th Open House in Norco curious to see what 2nd Street Hooligans was all about and came away a fan! Was pleased to make a donation and would recommend doing so if you are looking to help out a reputable animal rescue program. I found a very clean and caring environment with knowledgeable and welcoming volunteer staff. Rachel and Nick have what it takes to run a successful rescue ~ big ❤️s and a willingness to work hard at it!

As far as Animal rescues go, 2nd Street Hooligans is totally boss. Animal Enrichment? You’ve never seen more than this. The animals that have been lucky enough to land here are loved and cared for beyond their wildest dreams. We attend every open house we can and are monthly donors, as well, and happy to do it. The co-founders are the coolest people. Kind and informative. They are super active on social media, too, so even if you can’t ever make it out to the rescue, you can definitely still get to know the animals! 10/10

I LOVE 2nd Street Hooligans Rescue! I started volunteering there about a year and a half ago after hearing great things about their organization. I had volunteered at other sanctuaries in the past, but I was looking for one that was a bit closer to my home and that made the welfare of the animals a priority. I appreciate how clean and organized things are at 2nd Street Hooligans. I also love how friendly everyone is; it's a very happy place for both people and animals! The residents are well cared for, and the founders are always looking for ways to enrich the lives of the animals in their care. As a volunteer, my input is not only heard, but welcomed, and there are always opportunities there to learn. After volunteering, I always leave the sanctuary feeling better than when I arrived.

I've been a volunteer with the Hooligans for over 2 years. All of the animals are well cared for and loved. I find myself looking forward to my regularly scheduled day. Some of the animals have had mobility issues when they arrived but with the patience and hard work of Nick, Rachael and other volunteers, they no longer need assistance. I love this place!

This sanctuary is so incredibly well run. Their mission is so pure and they give all the residents such a comfortable life. The guardians are super knowledgeable and are always happy to share stories about their various residents. We are so lucky to have people like them around, and especially for the animals sake.
The volunteer program is great as well. The work is super rewarding and you can interact with the residents along the way, yay for goat pets!
Don’t hesitate, definitely go see for yourself. Supporting 2nd Street's mission is truly rewarding.

I met Nick and Rachael at 2nd Street Hooligans about 5 years ago and started volunteering immediately. At the time, I was looking for somewhere to volunteer that was close to my home and also that was in line with my beliefs. 2nd Street has been more than I ever expected. I love the animals! I love the organization and what they stand for! I love Nick and Rachael! About a year into volunteering, they asked me to take on the role of volunteer coordinator. I gladly accepted and have been doing that for the past 4 years. This past year they also asked me to take on the role of Vice President of the Board of Directors and I gladly accepted that as well. This organization does so much for animals. I have personally helped with some of the animal rescues over the past few years. They also try to educate people in a non-invasive manner. They lead with compassion and understanding. One of the main reasons I love this place so much is that Nick and Rachael are very open and honest. They have complete transparency with the public about all their animals and everything going on with the rescue. I feel like this place has become like a second home to me, and Nick and Rachael and ALL the hooligans have become my family. I hope I am around for many years to come to help 2nd Street Hooligans continue their mission. My heart and life would be missing a very big piece without them.
