My discovery of Families for Conscious Living some years ago was a revelation. FCL provides information and inspiration to help us return to our deep intuitions about parenting and family life that helps everyone thrive. It has a host of tools that provide solid but compassionate guidance for families on how to raise happy and healthy children. I recently was asked to join the board, a real honor.

Families for conscious living helps provide a significant library of resources for parents to help them grow in their journeys with their children. FCL is always striving to put out the newest information and interview professionals in the conscious and attachment parenting fields so that everyone is always learning and growing, and I just love that they are an organization that is focused on forward growth and sharing that information with the public. Thanks FCL for all of your hard work!

Families For Conscious Living help to bring us vital education on how we can change the world we live in, not just for us and our children, but for generations to come. The world needs more conscious parents. The resources shared in FCL is the first vital step to make that change.

Families for Conscious Living is all about connection. And, for those of us who are working to radically transform the ecology of childhood in our own communities across the US and the globe, Families for Conscious Living reminds us that we are not alone on this journey and that we are each a significant part of the collective birthing of a new story of childhood. Families for Conscious Living is a playground for the imagination of any changemaker who is a part of the movement working to transform childhood and I am personally deeply grateful for FCL and the community it has connected me to!

Families for Conscious Living is illuminating the strands that connect those who are consciously involved in the movement to awaken the planet. I feel extremely lucky to be a part of this network and as a graduate student at UW-Madison studying mindful wise parenting I could not feel more supported in the work I do. Families for Conscious Living connects the head, the heart, and the soul.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

give it more publicity so others who are unaware of this movement can stop feeling alone and know that there are thousands of us who are working towards conscious living.

FCL and it's published materials are a valuable resource for those working toward a world where there is more awareness and consciousness about what is important in birth , childrearing , education and healthy families. We distributed their brochures and educational material at our recent conferences (see www.birthkeepersummit.com. Their staff gave volunteer support to us in the development of our programs. Many thanks to Lisa Reagen and the rest of FCL staff.

As a parenting educator, who promotes attachment/connection parenting, I know how much parents need and appreciate the support and validation, for their "non- mainstream " parenting choices, that FCL provides to parents and professionals. For many, it can mean the difference between having the courage and conviction to follow their heart connection with their children or secumbing to the societal pressure to conform to the prevailing, disconnecting parenting norms."

I find the articles on Kindred to be a source of inspiration and Information that makes a positive difference in my work to educate and empower parents, and I love being able to send parents and colleagues there as a resource.
