My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for CURE International, Inc., Grand Rapids, MI, USA
I have the utmost respect and admiration for this organization. I have seen the incredible dedication of the staff: all staff members are part of a team. Not only do the medical directors, nurses, doctors, kitchen staff, admin works, and the cleaning staff all know each other they all have relationships with each other. I have seen in Cure that each person is honored and respected. Each person is highly appreciated for the unique skills they bring to Cure. There is a spirit of inclusiveness and the openness to people of all faiths.I have witnessed first hand the careful use of resources and the incredible generosity towards others. Cure is an amazing steward of its resources and has a high level of intentionality to everything they do. At every step along the way Cure is making careful decisions to make sure that they can give the highest level of medical care to children. The people of Cure live and work with an incredible sense of purpose and have changed thousands of lives because of this.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have had the amazing opportunity to volunteer with Cure International in both Ethiopia and Niger. Cure in both places feels like a big family-- inclusive, diverse, energetic, passionate, warm, and open. They greet people with a variety of skills with open arms allowing each person to use their skills to serve others.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
continue to expand slowly and intentionally to create more clinics and hospitals.
