I have been involved with Art & Creativity for Healing for nearly eight years now, and served as a board member with the organization for a couple of years. It has been amazing to watch the organization grow into what it is today! The impact that these workshops have on those that it serves is amazing, especially the kids and teens. I've sat in on workshops and I've seen teens, especially, enter a workshop not wanting to have anything to do with the process, then leaving wanting more! The transformation is astounding. I'm particularly excited to hear all of the results that they are getting through their program for military families at Camp Pendleton, the testimonials from the families and wounded warriors illustrate how well the organization is able to connect with, and help these individuals to express their feelings in a way that they might otherwise not be able to.
