JUBILEE WOMEN'S CENTER
May 26, 2010
The Jubilee Women's Center (JWC) is a place women can find themselves again. My first contact with the JWC was through a then acquaintence that had become homeless and asked me to assist her in finding housing. I went with her to JWC for the intial interview. We both felt immediatley that the JWC was a place she would receive the support and guidance she needed to become self-sufficient.
Because of the continued invovlement, an aquaintance has now evolved into a friendship and I became involved with the programs offered at JWC.
The programs have been designed to meet a variety of women's needs. The staff is first class and Jubilee’s mission “To provide women a safe and supportive place to live and an opportunity to learn while becoming self-reliant in housing and employment,” was my friends experience.
