INTERFAITH ROTATING WINTER SHELTER OF DAVIS
December 22, 2009
I am very busy yet I find time to volunteer as I firmly believe that IRWS certainly makes a difference in the lives of our community's homeless. Any evening is an experience in friendship, tasty homecooked culinary treats and gifting of ourselves, our time and effort. What goes around, comes around.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Developing personal friendships within our community with others I might not have otherwise met.
More feedback...
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The feeling of giving without expecting anything in return.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Open, warm, interested, willing to help minimize, even if only temporarily, the challenges of homelessness of providing basic food and shelter
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Build a facility and estabilsh a program for our community's homeless that would allow for guests basic stability to establish themselves back into the mainstream of society and work force.
