I'm a volunteer for the Great Basin Water Network. The Center for Biodiversity is a leader several times over for being a strong ally, a snynergistic catalyst, in helping protect species in the Great Basin that are fully threantened by the huge Southern Nevada Water Authority water withdrawals in eastern Nevada and western Utah. Their staff person in Nevada is thoughtful and just plain helpful on strategies, knowledge, doing the work and acting as a sounding board. I'm awed by CBD's ability to react rapidly to threats. We can all learn from them.
