What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the smiles and laughter on everyone who is involved. Everyone knows someone with cancer and this is a great way to give back to those who need our help.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
the volunteers are over the top. They give up everything to provide any possible need for the camper and the family all weekend long. We are an all volunteer staff, the group that makes Me-One/Camp Challenge is what being a human being is really all about
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
have Camp Challenge every weekend of every year in every state in the United States and we would have a fabulous time and make memories to last a lifetime and beyond.
Ways to make it better...
we could host Camp Challenge more frequently for more cancer families. You never know when your time is up and I would hate for a cancer family to miss the opportunity of Camp Challenge.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
funding. We need a big corporate sponsor who believes in what we do and who we are here to help. We just got a cancer family from Texas that wants to come to Camp Challenge 2010. The need is out there, the disease is not going away any time soon.
