My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Operation Write Home, Federal Way, WA, USA
When I retired, I wanted to volunteer my time and talent to a worthwhile organization. I actually located Operation Write Home in a paper crafting magazine, checked out the web site, and immediately went to work on making cards.
This nonprofit is exceptional in every way. Our leader, Sandy Allnock, keeps an awesome web site with guidelines, card ideas and tutorials, messages of thanks from the troops, challenges, and more. Her weekly live OWHtv presentation keeps all of us informed and inspired. What I particularly appreciate is Sandy's emphasis on QUALITY cards. Rather than throwing together 20 cards at one sitting, she encourages us to take our time, use quality products, and make beautiful, unique, special cards for our brave troops throughout the world. They deserve our best effort.
Sandy's the greatest and I am proud to be a small part of this great organization.

Review for Operation Write Home, Federal Way, WA, USA
Our deployed military are doing their best for us and they deserve OUR best. I am proud of the veterans in my family (husband, father, father-in-law, many uncles). And I am proud and delighted to create beautiful greeting cards for our deployed heroes. OWH is filled with loving, caring volunteers and the bestest President ever, Sandy.
