Review for Our Military Kids, Inc., Oakton, VA, USA
I was deployed in 2004 to Afghanistan and again in 2009 to Iraq, both times I was overseas Our Military Kids was there to assist my wife providing and financing extra-curricular activities for my children.
The first deployment was extremly difficult for my son who gained 30 pounds in the first 3 months of my deployment while the second deployment was difficult for my daughter who feared for my life. Our Military Kids provided fun activities for them to do to get their minds off where and what I was doing (the danger I was in).
I can not tell you how thankful I am that Our Military kids was there providing financing and extra-curricular activities for them to enjoy. It took there minds off, even for just a short time, that I was gone.
Please accept my sincere Thanks to all the people who responsible for assisting my family in these difficult times.
