Review for Family Outreach Richardson-Plano Inc, Plano, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I first became involved with Family Outreach when I was the Charities Chairperson for an International Women's Organization. We selected Family Outreach as our charity several years in a row because they focused on keeping families intact while not wasting a penny of our donation. Eighteen months ago I was asked to join the auxiliary board to help with fundraising. It is not an easy task, but I have been encouraged to double my efforts by the positive feedback that comes - albeit confidentially - from the client families. I will never meet them face to face, but their success stories are just inspirational!

So I am back again! How could I refuse when I do not know another group that accomplishes as much on as little as Family Outreach does. Nothing is wasted. This year I have joined the fund-raising auxiliary board and have met the dedicated and innovative people behind this amazing group. I am proud to be in their company .

Family Outreach is a simply splendid organization! As Charity chairperson for the ( now defunct) International Women's Club of North Texas, I worked with Family Outreach to provide specific help for various family units. The volunteers really 'know' their families, so I learned that the goods our organization provided were exactly what was needed. An unexpected bonus was that many recipients felt the need to send thanks, even giving up their privacy to sign their notes.
Family Outreach helps families while still preserving the dignity of these precious groups!

Role:  Volunteer & I coordinated Christmas gifts for specific families.
