Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation
July 29, 2009
I have been involved with PCRF now for over 7 years, as both the husband of a volunteer, a volunteer and now as a Board Member.
It is one of the finest organizations with which I have ever been associated. It is composed of people throughout the community working to save children from the ravages of cancer by raising money for the funding of research into the prevention, treatment and cure of childhood cancers.
As a businessman for the last 35 years, I have never seen any organization work harder to direct every single dollar raised to the bottom line goal of funding research, consistently delivering over 80% of all money donated to some of the finest research programs in America.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The lives of children and their families.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the commitment of the people involved in making life better for cancer victims.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
from all areas of the community drawn together by common cause.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
make a significant impact in the lives of children fighting one of the most dreadful experiences imaginable for a child.
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
Board Member & Volunteered at several of the annual events - Board Member for 5 1/2 years.
