PROVAIL
April 5, 2011

PROVAIL will always be a memorable part of my life. As a former member of the Employment staff I grew as a professional and an individual.

In working with these highly motivated individuals and their families I was challenged by the task of assisting them with finding work, and maintaining employment. But I was also rewarded with their gratitude, their hard work, and the feeling of accomplishment shared by all.

My colleagues are some of the most amazing human beings that I have met and still continue to call friends. The work we put into motion doesn´t always see its intended outcomes. But I feel the ripple effect of what the organization continues to do for the participants I hear about and I am fortunate to have been a part of the movement.

My supervisors over the years included Cheryl Green and Gina Solberg. Both individuals are the most outstanding advocates and leaders in helping people with the most severe developmental disabilities fulfill their employment goals.

I have great respect for the dedicated staff working in Assistive Technology, Speech Communication, Community Living Program, Administration and all departments under the PROVAIL umbrella.

PROVAIL provides so much to so many individuals and families. I wish the agency all the best.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the community. People to whom I mentioned PROVAIL always have positive things to do say about the organization, whether it be someone who was helped or how they heard about PROVAIL´s role in the community.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

find a way for the agency to keep innovating.

MY ROLE:
Professional with expertise in this field & I helped people with disabilities find jobs in the Seattle area.
