Review for Community Women Against Hardship, St Louis, MO, USA
I have been a volunteer for Community Women Against Hardship (CWAH) for over ten years. The fervor and zeal that the volunteers possess is undeniably contagious. It mirrors the commitment and passion of the Executive Director. I love this organization because of the work that is done for children and families in need. CWAH provides shelter, clothing, food, counseling and educational services. Every city should have a Community Women Against Hardship, an organization who really understands how our current economic situation has adversely affected all of us, especially children and families in need.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I have seen a client of CWAH move from living in the transitional housing sponsored by CWAH and move into her own housing, and now she is in the process of completing her final work for her doctorate. We all must reach out to help others and CWAH provides me with that opportunity.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
CWAH needs additional full time employees to help with the mission of supporting families. I would hire at least three more fulltime persons to assist the executive director with the programs and activities of CWAH.
