Review for ASPCA - American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 1 stars

The ASPCA wants your money....and NOT to help them care for animals or to shelter/feed/ or even rescue them! I am stick and tired of the ASPCA and other so called 'non-profit' organizations who are really all about PROFIT. If you really want to know how the ASPCA cares for animals, look no further than Animal Care & Control right down the street from the ASPCA headquarters......You see, this is the AsPCA's dirty little secret--they send all the animals they can't be bothered to care for or save down the street to be neglected and KILLED. The truth is far worse than fiction. Shame on you, ASPCA....Time to make amends for all the years of KILLING and neglect perpetrated on the animals you claim to help! Good riddance to Ed Sayres! He will be a blight on your name for a long time to come. Time for a leader who truly cares about animals, not just MONEY!

Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA

Perhaps this biggest hypocrit of all.....Raises hundreds of millions each and every year with their misleading tv ads and then sits on their money while beautiful animals are KILLED in shelters across the country......I bet you THOUGHT they helped shelter animals, right? Well, that's what their heart wrenching tv ads want you to think! Look just a little closer and see what they really do to to help shelter animals....and it isn't much.
Shame on HSUS for their relationship with the sociopathic dog-torturer and killer, Mike Vick!! Shame on HSUS for NOT helping so many prescious animals when you have the power, the name and the MONEY to!

Role:  Professional with expertise in this field & rescued animals my entire life on my own dime!.

I volunteer for Hilltop Humane Society. In fact, it is run entirely by volunteers and nobody receives any compensation for what they do. If you are looking to donate your money for a truly worthy cause, please consider giving to Hilltop Humane Society. Every penny donated will go entirely to the actualy rescue, medical care and housing of abandoned and injured animals. Hilltop is also a No-Kill shelter and no animal is ever killed due to a treatable condition or for convenience.

Review for Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Boston, MA, USA

MSPCA/Angell.....Where should I begin? If I could give you negative stars for this review I would! This once great humane society is now nothing more than a bloated, mismanaged, corporate nightmare! This organization has squandered millions upon millions of dollars on their bloated executive salaries and benefit packages as well as throwing away countless millions building massive animal hospitals-only to close the doors less than 10 yrs. later!
They invest only the tiniest of their dollars towards spay/neuter campaigns and they kill HEALTHY animals in their shelters all the time without a second thought.
Don't believe me? Just read their 990's from the past 20 years and then ask yourself where all those countless hundreds of millions of dollars went. The answer won't be towards helping animals.
MSPCA needs a NEW Board of Directors and a clean sweep of their lazy, greedy, full of themselves management. This is NOT the way to run a humane society in the 21st century. Shame on you Mspca!
