iCast International Center for Appropriate & Sustainable Technology
March 15, 2011

Getting involved with the iCAST team has broadened my horizons, period! I came in to use their computers for job search and ended up with a whole new outlook on life and some great experiences to help make my new vision a reality! I started with the OSHA class and went on to Green Construction, from there I was made part of the iCAST team to help modify a curriculum for a carpentry class. I have been amazed at the warmth and support offered by all the staff in helping individuals meet and beat thier potentials in the wide variety of experience opportunities available here. Their goals and visions are an inspiation to everyone and I see hope in the eyes of clients and staff alike. I couldn't say enough about how much good I see this operation doing when i think of what they are accomplishing with so little. They are a beacon of hope for this community and the Earth.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

I have been involved in the staff meetings and am thoroughly impressed with how they are directed towards always making this oganization better in all ways possible. These people really care. More funding is what is needed. In the hands of iCAST it will be put to the best possible use. More money to better serve everyones better interests is all I could want for iCast.
