Review for Arizona Russian Center, Phoenix, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I was pleasantly surprised by the efforts and friendliness that I saw at the event that was held by the Arizona Russian Center.
It was better than what I expected, since other Russian themed events of the past were awkward or way too old school like. I was invited in, and was seated next to a person who translated the event for me as it happened, the food was not limited, and the people were friendly, even if I did not know any of them there. I recommend their events and celebrations to anyone interested in Russian events in Arizona.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I had my questions answered, and I was treated as a welcomed friend, not as an outsider, in a predominantly Russian speaking event, by Arizona Russian Center.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

They would benefit from better advertising of their events, as well as having more events each year.

Role:  Client Served & participated in an event in Phoenix, by Arizona Russian Center.

As a group, the Arizona Russian Center a local community organization, is continually striving to buildup on people's diversities, and to make cultural differences more understandable. This interaction promotes better understanding between the American mainstream culture in Arizona, and Russian culture as it exists in the local Russian speaking population in Arizona. This interaction is beneficial to all who are interested in the subject of language and culture, and in getting to know haw to get along better with people of Russian background, as well as a good opportunity for Russian speakers to better understand, and get along more effectively with the local Arizona culture. I earnestly recommend Arizona Russian Center events and functions to all who are interested in the working interactions between these two great cultures.
