The Macon Rescue Mission changes lives on a daily basis and is also focused on lifelong transformation. I have seen the staff get genuinely excited about the programs they offer the Macon community. There are countless testimonies to the services and programs the Mission provides. They love volunteers too, if you can spare some of your valuable time you won't regret it.

the community wide outreach programs and restoration of some people I have seen on the streets over the years.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I don't know the shortcomings due to being a volunteer so I really don't have any criticisms of that nature. I would however say that the vision for the future comes from the top leadership and resounds throughout the staff. I know they would love to add property for more housing and other services.
