The Trevor Project, Inc.

I've been with The Trevor Project (TTP) for nearly a year and it has changed my life forever. I have been given the opportunity to save young powerful educated LGBTQ youth in their time of need. These youth have reminded me, that without TTP, they would not have the strength to fight. To fight for equal rights, to fight for themselfes and the cards they've been dealt. To fight for what they believe, for happiness, and for strength to empower themselves to make a difference in their own world. Everyday when I work with Trevor Staff, it reminds me that without them, it wouldn't be possible. Without the funds of $15.00 per call, we wouldn't have the ability to empower the youth, and that there would be no light at the end of their tunnel, in a time of need

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the great individuals that make it happen can only be superseded, by the lives that I have saved.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

amazing in everyway possible and are involved for the same reason that I am, for change and empowerment of the LGBTQ Youth.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

spread the word that LGBTQ don't need to be scared anymore, that The Trevor Project could help them, by other avenues of counseling or programs and always remembering them that they are not alone.

Ways to make it better...

the world we lived in, didn't need our services- but until then I am glad to know that The Trevor Project is there.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

finding the right counselors that have the ability to assist those in a time of need, it's not as easy as some may think.

One thing I'd also say is that...

if it wasn't for The Trevor Project, LGBTQ Youth may take their own life more frequently and change would never come in the journey of equal rights.
