Review for Diabetes Hands Foundation, Berkeley, CA, USA
I just came across this website and I have to say I am so happy to see that there are sites like this out there. My sister died at a young age due to complications of diabetes. There weren’t sites like this when she was alive. I believe it would’ve made such a difference in the quality of her life to be able to be part of a community that allowed her to comfortably be a diabetic. Now that I’ve found it I must volunteer!

Review for Cancer Schmancer Foundation, Malibu, CA, USA
I don’t have a story to tell and thank goodness I don’t. Thanks to the Cancer Schmancer Foundation I can continue to gain knowledge about cancer and possible prevention tips that could save my life.
An example of how this foundation has helped me is that I recently found out that BPA’s found in certain plastics and metal containers can be a contributing factor to reproductive and developmental issues.
One could argue that this information is all over the internet and all you have to do is research it, but, I wouldn’t have thought to research it, so, the only reason I have this information is because Cancer Schmancer thought of it for me/the subscriber and brought it directly to me via their emails. As a result I am now replacing certain plastic products with a safer product and am cautious when using the ones I’ve chosen to keep.
Additionally, the Cancer Schmancer Foundation’s primary goal is to educate and prevent. Other Foundations tend to raise and contribute money towards a cure. I think this is great too, but, given the choice I focus on preventing illnesses.

I'm not sure that there are any changes to be made. If I get an opportunity to work with CSF I would merely continue to help promote their cause.
