Review for The Gow School, South Wales, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

"The Gow School saved my life, thank you”, these were my son’s words upon graduation after five years. He became more verbally expressive and confident academically through the extraordinary tutelage by the faculty at Gow. The strong RL (Reconstructive Language) aspect of the school’s program is a key ingredient to the students’ education. Extracurricular activities and facilities have expanded for the boys to be constructively engaged during their stay at the school. There is also an excellent coed summer program for children. This is a male college preparatory school that is operated responsibly, with great thoughtfulness and deliberation. The faculty and staff are highly invested and committed to providing the highest level of education. Leadership in the form of a head master and board of trustees is strong, disciplined and dedicated.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Often when a student arrives at Gow self-esteem is low, the faculty and staff have a enormous job to educate its students academically, socially and personally. My son became a successful and productive adult. He developed a strong academic background as well as life skills while he was at The Gow School. Faculty and staff were caring and disciplined.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

The Gow School currently provides an outstanding program and maintains its excellent facilities. It is a fiscally responsible secondary level academic institution that addresses all aspects of young men's academic education, growth and development. I see no obvious changes at this time.
