Review for Mission of Mercy, Frederick, MD, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I had been looking for a way to help my community. When a Mission of Mercy volunteer contacted me, I jumped right at the chance! An organization which does not take taxes from people, but depends upon our own obligation as caring human beings to help each other. An organization which does not make requirements, like verifying income, before help is offered. An organization composed of caring people who realize they are on this planet to do whatever they can for others. This is the kind of organziation I want to be attached to. Giving a necessity - health care - at a time when government and many private organizations are sorely incapable of offering. This is an organization I want to be a part of. I am very, very happy to give the small amount I do to an organization which exists only to give! And they do give!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Practice and behind the scenes.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Continue to follow many of the practices they have in place.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

The people who give their time for it. I also am pleased to give the amount of time I do for such a worthy cause!

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Every potential walk of life!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Grow! Not only would this help the current structure for the many needy people within this area, but this organization is multi-State and could solve many of the current health care needs in so many other areas!

Ways to make it better...

My experience could not have been better.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Money. They have an uncanny way of finding amazing voluteers.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Nothing more than I have said...

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Volunteer & Computer Chair for Annual Gala which represents a significant amount of the support $'s for the year.
