CENTER FOR BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY INC
April 24, 2009

The Center is at the forefront of most major environmental issues facing our world today, and certainly of the most urgent ones. Their staff are incredibly dedicated and intelligent, and they work tirelessly towards the organization's goals. The result is an extremely successful organization that is helping to make this world a better place, for people and for the critters.

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

many ways, but the polar bear phenomena has been so exciting to witness.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

make sure that the Center retains its spirit and never turns bureaucratic, like some of the really large organizations.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the dedication and intelligence of the staff.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

both program staff and attorneys.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

do even more of the great work it does now! Also, they could get the kind of media attention that NRDC does, since the Center's work is just as important, but they don't quite have the same profile/funds to get all that attention! And like any non-profit, they could pay their very hard-working staff more.

Ways to make it better...

can't think of any ways to improve.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

can't think of anything.

One thing I'd also say is that...

keep an eye on these guys, they're getting better all the time!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

MY ROLE:
Professional with expertise in this field & I work for a similar organization and frequently interact with the Center in a professional context.
