What I want to do

Address issues facing at-risk youth. Teens work toward their GED or high school diplomas, learn job skills and serve their communities through GREEN initiatives and transform their lives and roles in society. Project 180 students are at-risk and have had experience with the juvenile justice system. Participants spend 6-24 months in the program, dividing their time between the horticultural site and the 180 alternative school.

What matters to me

Project 180 is a wonderful opportunity for the youth of tommorrow and the community today to impact the lives of many... Where once a child may have been "thrown away", Project 180 is giving the opportunity for them to be recycled into something great!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

providing a need resource to youth and their families that isn't being provided.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

... well, I do run this organization so nothing!

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the desire and dedication of the board and trying to better, not only their community but the future leaders...

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

AMAZING!!!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Build a completely "green" school, and office. Provide a greenhouse and garden for produce for local restaraunts and flowers to beautify the community.

Ways to make it better...

there was more funding.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

funding in this economical time.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Project 180 is a wonderful organization that is just getting off the ground. It will be very successful!

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

MY ROLE:
Board Member & I may be biased by being the President but I've also seen many programs come and go that did not work... This will work!.
