My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Weather Research Center, Inc., Houston, TX, USA
I have been involved with The John C. Freeman Weather Museum for 10 years. I believe in their mission of helping children get excited about not only meteorology but also math and science. People from all over the country send their children to their weather camps. They also help train school teachers and young meteorologists. I am a huge fan of what they are doing, because I know it makes a huge positive impact on the community and even the world.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
seeing it grow and being able to help even more children get excited about science and math.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated and amazingly intelligent.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
build more facilities and reach out into the community and even nation...helping even more kids get excited about math and science.
Ways to make it better...
I knew more people were donating to support their great work.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
getting enough funding to satisfy all the education requests they receive.
One thing I'd also say is that...
our country needs more organizations like this one...their efforts are vital to the success of our future generations.
