Review for The Parent-Child Home Program, Inc., Garden City, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Parent-Child Home program is a powerful model that brings parents and their children together in play and conversation , strengthening their relationship and preparing the child for a lifetime success in reading and learning.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the powerful results for parents and children through simple , consistent and ongoing outreach.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Wonderful and full of passion for the early childhood experience of children being raised in poverty.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Reach children early as they are first developing , and provide the support they need to be successful in school. There are millions of children in America who have no access to early education. Most have no transportation. They need this program.

Review for National Association For The Education Of Homeless Children And Youth, Minneapolis, MN, USA

Rating: 5 stars

NAEHCY is a true great non-profit. It has taken the lead in the nation for the education of homeless children and provides the forum , the information, the network and support for all the professionals in the nation working to see that homeless children's rights under the federal law are upheld. They are available, personal, and consistent over many many years. I have attended 8 of their national conferences and that has been the main support of my work for the 10 years I have been serving homeless children and families.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

their comprehensive work touching all bases necessary to help children who are homeless get what they need.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

dedicated and knowledgeable.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Reach and serve the neediest children in our country by helping them get the education they need to change the future.
