The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
Beside the wonderful speakers, a lot of the community is out helping and remembering 9/11. It's a very patriotic event, so wear red, white and blue or someting that's patriotic. The event goes from 4 pm to 7 pm. Food and raffle tickets available.
Ways to make it better...
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Try to get them more funding so they could do even more for our troops and our community. They are involved with all the schools in town, the students write many letters to the soldiers, and many get responses back. It's a great feeling that's exchanged.

Life-changing
Did the organization use your time wisely?
Very Well
Would you recommend this group to a friend?
Definitely
What one change could this group make that would improve your volunteer experience?
The experience is really great as it is, but it would be nice to help mentor newer members and get the accustomed to doing the things they way we have learned works best.
Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
My volunteer experience has given me a better ability to speak to groups of people, classes or crowds. As far as friends go, when you're in this together doing something from the heart such as supporting the troops, you learn new thing every day, and also make close friends.
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
Fufilled, Kind of like paying it forward, but the rewards are really instantaneous, because your packing all these items, then taking them to the post office and actually mailing them to men and women in the armed forces, and in many cases, mailing them to hospitals and Combat Support Hospitals where they have a number of wounded warriors we like to take care of.
