Teen Straight Talk, Inc.
June 23, 2010

I have to say that serving teenagers is not an easy task. I have not experience anything more powerful and impactful than Teen Straight Talk. Trust me,I've tried everything I know to get through to teens. I attended an event where the young teenagers were expressing themselves and you could see that the information they received was change their lives forever. The light bulb came on!!!Sometimes it only takes a moment like this to change the course of lives. I applaud Ms.Allen and her team who have dedicated their lives to speaking the truth to teens and empowering them with tools that will help them make informed decisions. I will do all I can to spread the news. This is a hidden gem that more people need to know about!

The Great!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Watching neighborhood teens girls change how they see themselves. They were told in their session that they were as precious as the china tea cups we drank from, not styrofoam cups! They've never forgotten that!!!!

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Give them funding to help market their services and build their curriculum so that more people can have access to it.

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

watching teenagers lives changed and saved with information that is critical to their health and well-being.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Joyful,educated, passionate, dedicated,experienced.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Create a larger campaign platform for their marketing and live event production. In essence, more teens will be empowered with information that will literally change their lives.

Ways to make it better...

It was a three day event...so much great info!!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Finding staff members that are as dedicated as the one's I witnessed.

One thing I'd also say is that...

You can tell the people are committed and their passion comes from a genuine place. Teenagers are smart. They pick up on things and when they feel a safe place, they open up. I saw some of the hardest teens melt in the presence of love. Amazing!

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
