I first volunteered with Threads Africa by going on a 2-week group trip. After seeing the amazing community that is Kayamandi, South Africa, and the incredible work that Threads does there, I approached them about returning a year later and for a longer period of time. Even though I was just one person, a single female college student with hardly any finances or skills to offer, Threads still worked hard and gave me the opportunity to volunteer for 3 and a half months at Kuyasa learning center.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I built relationships with people I never thought I would be able to serve. Not only are people in South Africa being changed and affected, but I have been even more inspired and encouraged for the people in Kayamandi, South Africa, and all pf Africa.
