My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for New Orleans Faith Health Alliance, New Orleans, LA, USA
I work with the migrant Latino community and have always struggled to find resources for the people I meet that are client-centered and low-cost for people without insurance. NOFHA is both of these. There is a gap in Spanish-speaking medical services in New Orleans and NOFHA's dedication to filling this gap is clear in Luanne's passion to serve people from any background. Similarly, finding low-cost medical services for people who work jobs that don't provide health insurance was next to impossible before NOFHA opened its doors. I am always excited to share information about this clinic and the great service they provide to the people I encounter during my week.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
visiting the clinic and meeting the dedicated staff. Natalia's warmth and ability to speak with Spanish and English speakers is an exception to the rule in this city. Luanne's vision of the clinic as an educational resource is also very exciting!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
hire multiple physicians and specialists!
