My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for National MS Society Mid-Atlantic Chapter, Charlotte, NC, USA
I started volunteering with the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National MS Society as a way to help one of my best friends who was diagnosed with MS. She lives in Texas and it was hard for me to be able to help her from so far away. I called the local chapter and spoke with Linda Vanderbosch(who is a saint!)and she helped me get started. Now my whole family volunteers for these events. I now have lots of friends with MS or loved ones with MS. It is one of the greatest experiences. I can never thank the staff enough for letting me be a part of something so special and FUN! I am not very good at putting things into words,so I hope this is some way lets people see what they are missing out on! Thank you, Prue Rodriguez If you never did, you should. These things are fun and fun is good! Dr. Seuss (1904 - 1991)
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the joy of cheering on the walkers and bikers.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
The most amazing people!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Help so many!!!!!!!!
Ways to make it better...
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
It is hard to get money in tough economic times.
One thing I'd also say is that...
It is filled with an amazing staff of people. Some are gone now(and are greatly missed).
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every six months
