SSEP provides the most evidenced based up to date clinical information for providers of women with diabetes during pregnancy.SSEP educational programs are excellent, always utilizing the recent research as well as clinical common sense. The providers who attend are able to return to their health care settings energized and armed with innovative approachs to patient care. Ultimately women with diabetes during pregnancy benefit from the expertise the providers have gained.

Sweet Success Extension Program has provided best practice skills to providers not only in California but across the US. I have had the priviledge to work with the program and to attend educational workshops SEEP provides. It has such far reaching effects, improving the knowledge of diabetes providers and thus the women who suffer from diabetes during pregnancy.

The strengths of the program are many but top of the list is it's focus on up to date clinical innovations in care which it shares through provider educational materials, workshops, newsletters and bringing together experts and providers for knowledge exchange.
