Street harassment can be distressing and confusing. When I saw all of the stories on Hollaback, I was inspired to change the way that I responded to harassment. When we start telling our stories, we find that there is a lot to tell and a lot to connect with other people about. Hollaback helped me to see how pervasive and real this problem is.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
gaining the knowledge that I am not alone and I don't need to suffer silently. I think that Hollaback has great potential to shift societal norms regarding what we are expected to accept when we walk down a public street.
